前天朋友送来一支BOP 咖啡豆，不知道是我很喜欢这朋友的烘焙手法还是很喜欢这烘焙机出来的味道，喝完了就是有一种幸福的感觉。
当地的咖啡协会(SCAP)并未有加入成为Cup Of Excellence 的成员, 而是自行组织每年的BOP杯测比赛, 并在网上进行拍卖。
比赛的结果就在不久前已经出来, 今年还是由常胜军翡翠庄园的Peterson家族优胜, 在这先恭贺各优胜庄园及咖啡!
Mamacata 位于Boquete产区, 早在1959年就成立, 直到1997年由庄园主Jose David Garrido 接手后进行了多方面的改革, 例如建立批次管理系统(Batching System),
以及在庄园的不同地区安装GPS, 以管理每个微细区域的气候情况, 这些改革为庄园的品质作出飞跃的改善。
这次引入的是庄园的水洗批次, 分别为Catuai 及 Caturra 的混合品种, 庄园的水洗处理法犹其出色, 令他们的咖啡保有极高的干净度下, 同时引出咖啡潜在的风味。
他们也是BOP的常胜军, 其水洗Geisha在2014年的BOP更独占鳌头, 成为水洗组Geisha的第一名, 更可见他们水洗处理法的功架。

Mama Cata is coffee estate located in Boquete, owned by Garrido family since 1997.
The farm has great successful in the Best of Panama competitions for its outstanding quality,
Good terroir, climate and varieties give its amazing characters, and the farm itself is sectioned and tracked into lots by using GPS,
which they use these information during the harvesting and process coffee with lots of cares.
