一杯香味濃郁的咖啡，一位和藹可親的總理，爲興隆咖啡寫下了一段美名。</div>

據介紹，興隆咖啡在鼎盛時期，種植面積達4000多畝，農場到處可見咖啡園。農場的家家戶戶都種有咖啡，咖啡收入是農民的經濟收入支柱。</div>

興隆咖啡落戶於海南興隆，是在1953年，當時興隆華僑農場剛剛成立不久，爲了實現“以短養長”的做法，也就是用咖啡、香茅、水稻等短期作物收入來彌補橡膠等長期作物收入，興隆從澄邁福山開始引進咖啡種植。</div>

興隆咖啡曾是海南地方品牌的旗幟產品。如今，在興隆農場，還有一塊爲紀念週恩來總理視察興隆咖啡園而立的石碑。</div>

55年過去了，石碑依然豎立，故事還在流傳，可當年的咖啡園已消失，取而代之的是一片鬱鬱蔥蔥的橡膠林。</div>

當時咖啡的種植面積非常大，整個興隆有3000多畝。爲了保證咖啡豆的品質，咖啡豆都是熟一粒，摘一粒，當時工人太忙，農場的學生經常半天半天的來到種植園裏摘咖啡。上世紀90年代後，隨着咖啡豆價格的不斷下跌，興隆咖啡的種植面積也在不斷減少，到現在，興隆地區的咖啡種植面積已不足千畝。</div>

12月8日，由萬寧市農業局、萬寧興隆咖啡研究院共同指導，中國熱帶農業科學院香料飲料研究所興科公司籌建的興隆咖啡（海口）旗艦店在海口揭牌營業，這既是海南首家興隆咖啡品牌店，也是香飲所貫徹落實《2018-2020年萬寧市興隆咖啡產業發展實施方案》的重要舉措，具有里程碑式的意義。</div>

據瞭解，店內分爲興隆咖啡文化展示區、沖泡體驗區、商務洽談區、產品展示區及海南興科雲商五大功能區。其中，在沖泡體驗區內，到店客人可觀看店員燒水、注水、濾泡、萃取等製作手衝咖啡的全過程。</div>
